Trick plays

All the talk at Wade Phillips' press conference this morning was about trick plays. The Redskins trailed the Giants 24-0 on Monday night when Washington tried a fake field goal on the last play of the first half. The punter, Hunter Smith, threw a pass that was intercepted.

The Cowboys have the Redskins' old kicker, Shaun Suisham, who has told coaches all of Washington's special teams trick plays. With Washington having nothing to play for this week, the Cowboys are prepared for everything, including the kitchen sink.

"It's got to be there, and it's percentages as far as what you're trying to do and how it's going to affect the game," Cowboys coach Wade Phillips said. "We've called off things before. We said, 'Hey, we're going to try this,' but then all of a sudden they didn't have the right look. I think they're good, but they have to be successful."
