If you'd like to play the December game with Wade Phillips, you'll have limited success. Phillips was asked at his press conference today if he had talked to players about not folding the last five games of the season, and he refused to take the bait.
When asked if he had talked to the team about finishing strong, Phillips said:: This game. I talked to them about this game only."
And why not overall?
"Because I don’t think the big picture is as important as the immediate picture -- the immediate thing right now is getting ready to play this game and play as well as we can play. You can’t play five games at once. You can only play one. And this one is real important."
