Five Cowboys on All-Decade Team

Five players with Cowboys’ ties were named to the 2000s All-Decade Team, including current outside linebacker DeMarcus Ware.

Ware’s inclusion on the 53-player team had been announced earlier as part of the NFL’s Pro Bowl week. The rest of the team was announced Sunday, and Terrell Owens, Larry Allen, La’Roi Glover and Zach Thomas also were named to the All-Decade Team. All four spent at least a season with the Cowboys during the past decade.

The NFL All-Decade teams are chosen every 10 years by the 44-member Pro Football Hall of Fame selection committee. The 2000s team will mark the ninth All-Decade Team selected in NFL history.
