Cowboys owner Jerry Jones revealed why the replay board and ribbon boards went black near the end of Sunday's game against the Eagles.
"There's a timer, and the game was originally at 12, so they had the timer set back before the season started," Jones said. "They took all of our kickoff times, and they put them in the timer. It automatically switches off three hours after what's supposed to be the end of the game, and then it reset itself. So it was programmed for the year, and somebody forget to tell it the kickoff was at 3 rather than 12 last week."
The game time was switched a week before the game.
