Cowboys re-sign Holland

The Cowboys have re-signed offensive guard Montrae Holland to a two-year contract. Holland was the Cowboys’ only unrestricted free agent. Holland’s agent, Jonathan Feinsod, said Holland “likes Dallas,” which is why Holland decided to return.

The Cowboys got Holland in a trade with the Broncos in 2008 in return for a fifth-round choice in 2010. He played in six games, starting two, in 2008 and was inactive for all 16 games last season.

Duke Preston, a backup center and guard, is a restricted free agent and considering retirement.
