The Big 12 has already had a banner day at the NFL Draft with the first four picks and five of the first six.
Oklahoma quarterback Sam Bradford went first to the St. Louis Rams. Nebraska defensive tackle Ndamukong Suh went second to the Detroit Lions, followed by Oklahoma defensive tackle Gerald McCoy to Tampa Bay and Oklahoma offensive tackle Trent Williams to the Redskins.
Tennessee safety Eric Berry went fifth to the Chiefs and then Oklahoma State offensive tackle Russell Okung went to the Seattle Seahawks.
That's three of the first four to Oklahoma, which is another nice recruiting pitch for Sooners coach Bob Stoops.
Maybe the best football is not played in the Southeastern Conference.
