It's easy to forget Dez Bryant is a rookie, and rookie receivers, well, they generally have a tough initiation into the NFL. Bryant hasn't played an NFL game yet. Still, fans are asking how long until he supplants Roy Williams as the team's No. 2 receiver. He's got a long way to go before that happens.
"Every day it gets easier and easier," Bryant said. "I feel comfortable. I get along with the guys very well. It's just exciting. We all look up to the vets, and they're all willing to help us."
After a rookie minicamp and four OTAs, Bryant has figured out he has a lot to learn. He said he is willing to learn.
"Everybody's good; everybody's great," he said. "You've got to know everything. Even with talent, you've got to know the techniques. You've got to know everything."
He still is trying to digest the playbook, and he hasn't seen all of that yet.
"I'm taking it little by little, and I get more comfortable every day," Bryant said. "By the season comes, I'll know the playbook."
