Former Cowboys kicker Nick Folk doesn't seem to have solved the case of yips he had last season. He is now with the Jets and he had an ugly turn at practice on Thursday missing his first three kicks.
His competition, Clint Stitser, was worse, prompting Jets coach Rex Ryan to cover his eyes.
"That was ugly. It's a little bit concerning," Ryan said. "Like I told those guys, I'm not the sharpest guy, but if the first nine kicks all went right of the upright, I think you might want to adjust a little bit. I might have to miss left before I miss another one to the right. I think Nick made a few but I don't think the other kid made any."
Folk was cut by the Cowboys last December after going 18-of-28 on the season, including misses on seven of his last 11 attempts.
