Starting safety Gerald Sensabugh and starting receiver Miles Austin have yet to sign their tenders. They would love to get long-term deals, but the uncertainty of the collective bargaining agreement has made that difficult. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was asked Tuesday if he could see completing long-term deals with those players during the season, as he did with DeMarcus Ware last season.
In late October, Ware signed a six-year extension through 2015.
"I can speak emphatically [that] they're very much a part of the future of the Dallas Cowboys," Jones said of Sensabaugh and Austin.
