The Cowboys have said they are committed to David Buehler as their placekicker and despite the fact that he sometimes sprays kicks like an out of control fastballer, they do seem confident that he can do that job.
The Cowboys took a look at free agent kicker Connor Hughes in minicamp, but they saw nothing to change their mind about Buehler. The Cowboys announced today that they have released Hughes, the former University of Virginia kicker.
Also released were cornerback Marquis Floyd, receiver Rashaun Greer, guard Chet Teofilo and tight end Nick Tow-Armett.

This site is ALWAYS far behind www.DallsCowboys.com and "Blog the Boys" in relevant Cowboys-related reporting. You need to play "catch up" or risk becoming obsolete to Die Hard Cowboys fans who want to follow the Boys year-round.
