Fourth-round pick back Wednesday?

Fourth-round pick Akwasi Owusu-Ansah, who has yet to get on the practice field after off-season shoulder surgery, said he will be back next week. Owusu-Ansah is shooting for a Wednesday return.

"I'm getting better every day, every day," Owusu-Ansah said after Saturday morning's practice. "I'm just waiting for the day for me where I can go out there and compete."

Owusu-Ansah is from tiny Indiana (Pa.) and could use all the reps he can get to compete for a job on the roster. He will be tried at free safety.
