One of the obvious strengths for the Cowboys in the first nine days of camp has been the linebacking corps. . Starters DeMarcus Ware, Anthony Spencer, Keith Brooking and Bradie James are established, but many of the backups have impressed coaches.
Linebackers coach Reggie Herring said the depth is better than it's been in recent years, and as an example, he said, "Even a Leon Williams is having a great camp."
Williams was a fourth-round pick by the Browns in 2006 and played there four years.
Williams adds to the list of 'backers with the same last name. Fort Worth's Brandon continued to play well, second-year player Jason Williams has impressed coaches in pass coverage. Steve Octavien has also had his moments.
"Then you take Victor Butler," Herring said. "Talk about turning the light on. All of a sudden he's starting to rush the passer better than he ever has.

This is part of the problem......he is content in that he feels he is "doing his job". Anthony, Look in the mirror, shave that silly beard off your face and tell yourself that just maybe, your teammates and coaches want and expect you to be more then "just a guy"! Time to step it up son!!
