Jerry Jones said some cuts are already being made

The Cowboys have already begun the process of cutting their roster from 75 to 53 players.

Owner Jerry Jones said the team starting visiting with some players early Friday morning, informing them they were no longer on the team.

Jones declined to identify the players because the final cuts don't have be turned until the league until Saturday.

Jones however did indicate that the team would keep only two tight ends, which means they will likely keep two fullbacks on the roster.

That would be good news to rookie free agent fullback Chris Gronkowski and veteran fullback Deon Anderson. What that also means is the Cowboys will likely keep a tight end on the practice squad.

Dont be surprised if something happens in the way of a trade of a defensive player. The team has a logjam at linebacker, defensive line, and even safety. who would have ever thunk you could ever say that about the safety positions.
