McCann agrees to join practice squad

Cornerback Bryan McCann, who played at SMU, has agreed to join the Cowboys' practice squad. He was released from the Ravens' 53-player roster this week, but the Ravens wanted to re-sign him to their practice squad. Instead, he chose to return to Dallas.

McCann was among the Cowboys' last cuts out of training camp. They kept only three cornerbacks on their 53-player roster. The Ravens picked him up on waivers, and he was inactive for their game against the Jets last week.

The Cowboys will have to make a roster move to get McCann on the practice squad.

Comments

McCann is only going to help a much improved secondary. The Boys are loaded on offensive and defense. I'm ready to see results.
