Cowboys linebacker DeMarcus Ware, who injured his neck in Sunday's loss to the Redskins, is not practicing today. Just before the start of practice, Ware said he was fine.
"I'm good," Ware said. "You know how it is. I put my head down and tweaked it a little bit. But I'm good."
Ware injured his neck last season, too, and was escorted off on a stretcher, in an ambulance, during the San Diego game. He returned to make the game-saving play against the Saints the next week.
"I didn't think about it [last year] at all, because I know what that felt like," Ware said. "They just wanted to make sure they took the right precautionary measures and everything is OK."
Fullback Deon Anderson missed practice. He was limping with a leg injury. Linebacker Sean Lee was working on the side, without shoulder pads, while rehabbing a hamstring injury.
