The Cowboys won't know officially until they return to practice next week in preperation for the Oct. 10 game against the Titans. But they got some good news in regards to the knee injuries suffered by tight end Jason Witten and guard Kyle Kosier.
Both underwent a magnetic resonance imaging exam on Monday after suffering sprained right knees against the Texans Sunday. The test revealed no significant damage.
And with the Cowboys off this Sunday because of the bye week, both players feel they will be ready to go when the team returns to action against the Titans.
The Cowboys trainers are also optimistic about Kosier and Witten being ready to go. But they are taking a wait and see approach until both return to the practice field, possibly next week.
