The Cowboys have signed fullback Alex Daniels to their practice squad. Daniels was an undrafted free agent from Cincinnati and signed with the Oakland Raiders in April. He was a defensive end in college and was very impressive at the NFL combine, where he ran the 40 yard dash in 4.73 seconds. He also had a 36 ½ vertical jump and did 31 bench press repetitions at 225 pounds. He was converted to fullback by the Raiders but released on Sept. 13. He is 6-2 and weighs 265 pounds.

Daniels has great numbers (although a little tall for a fullback), but given that the Raiders released him, I gotta believe there are issues with this player.
