Kosier doesn't look ready to play

Left guard Kyle Kosier is wearing a walking boot on his right foot, protecting his strained Achilles' tendon. He looks nothing like a guy who is close to playing Monday night.

"I'm good; I'm hanging in there," Kosier said.

Kosier is expected to miss 2-3 weeks, though coach Wade Phillips said Wednesday that Kosier has not been ruled out for Monday night's game against the Giants and is day to day.

Montrae Holland will start in Kosier's spot if Kosier is unable to play.
