Offensive line challenges

The Cowboys had planned to use rookie free agent Phil Costa at center if there were injuries on the line. But when Montrae Holland, who was replacing the injured Kyle Kosier, injured his groin against the Giants, Costa replaced Holland.

“We didn't want to change Andre's position,” Wade Phillips said. “Therefore, we started working Costa more to be the backup guard in case anybody went out. I guess we didn't inform everybody.

If Holland can’t play against Jacksonville on Sunday, the 6-3, 310-pound Costa will start at left guard.

Good! It's about time we put somebody in there that can actually pull and block instead of get pushed around like "Turnstile" Davis and "Push-me-back-into-the-QB Colombo!
