Running back Marion Barber is still day to day with a calf strain. But no matter his status, interim coach Jason Garrett indicated on Monday that Tashard Choice has earned a bigger role in the offense with his effort against the Colts on Sunday.
Choice rushed 19 times for 100 yards and a touchdown against the Colts. Only Felix Jones' 109 against the Titans surpassed Choice's one game total. Barber's best game was 55 yards against the Texans.
Last week Choice was labeled as the no. 3 back in the Cowboys offense behind Jones and Barber, now is one of three who definitely be a part of the mix going forward.
"Yes, absolutely, absolutely," Garrett said. "We want to get him the ball. We want to get him the ball. There’s no question about that."

It is sad, really. Remember Marion the Barbarian? MB3 had a role on this offense as a physical, hard-hitting, goal-line and short yardage back. The GM and coach decided to "fix" what wasn't broken and make him a starter.
