Chris Greisen has rented out a video room at Valley Ranch since signing with the Cowboys on Monday.
The former Dallas Desperados quarterback is expected to be Stephen McGee’s backup Sunday. Greisen said he is comfortable with “100 to 150” of the Cowboys’ 300 or so offensive plays.
“It’s getting better every day,” Greisen said. “If I got on the grease board and they said a play, I can draw it up now. No problem. But it’s just a matter of the instant recognition in your mind when the play call is in to be able to relay that to the guys. There’s a lot of checks, a lot of protections that you have to know.”
