The Cowboys have agreed to a two-year dealwith former Southlake Carroll kicker Kris Brown and will add him to the 53-player roster Friday. Dallas will place linebacker Leon Williams (hamstring) on injured reserve to make room for Brown.
In 12 NFL seasons, Brown has made 77.3 percent of his field-goal attempts. He was released by the Texans after Neil Rackers won the job in training camp and kicked in three games for the Chargers this season.
David Buehler has made only 24 of 31 field-goal attempts this season, and he has missed two extra points. His missed PAT against Arizona resulted in a 27-26 loss to the Cardinals on Saturday night.

This came about 12 games too late
