Any hopes the Cowboys had of evaluating second year receiver Kevin Ogletree for the rest of the season have been dealt a severe setback because of a toe injury he suffered against the Eagles.
Ogletree, who underwent an magnetic resonance imaging exam and also visited a foot specialist on Monday, has been diagnosed with a sprained toe. It will keep him out of this week’s game against the Redskins and possibly the rest of the season, according to a team source.
It prevents Ogletree from building on last week’s performance against the Eagles. He had three catches for 34 yards before being injured on a kickoff return in the fourth quarter.
