The Cowboys are still looking for an assistant line coach. Former Cowboy Dan Campbell interviewed for the position last week, but instead, accepted a job with the Miami Dophins as the tight ends coach.
The Cowboys have also interviewed Bruce Matthews, who played 19 years in the NFl and was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2007, for the position.
Campbell, who went to Texas A&M, played for the Cowboys from 2003-05 and was a teammate of Garrett’s with the New York Giants. He was the Dolphins’ assistant offensive line coach last season, his first year as a coach.
