Gase staying in Denver

Broncos receivers coach Adam Gase, who interviewed to become the Cowboys' receivers coach on Monday, has decided to stay in Denver. New Broncos coach John Fox offered Gase the job of quarterbacks coach, and Gase has accepted.

The Cowboys are looking to replace Ray Sherman as their receivers coach. Sherman's contract expires after the 2010 league season ends.

Comments

Seems to me that J. Garrett would have an idea who he wants as a receiver coach the moment he decided to fire Sherman - unless of course, it is one of these situations where Sherman had to go regardless.
