It appears Cowboys receiver Miles Austin is headed back the Pro Bowl for the second straight year.
At least if you can believe this tweet on the official @MilesAustinIII twitter page: @MilesAustinIII: Heading to hawaii...Got in through back door but I ain't complaining!
He also announced during an NFL appearance on ESPN's NFL Live that he had been added as an alternate. He had to cut the show short and catch a long flight from Connecticut to Hawaii.
The NFL and the Cowboys have verified Austin's addition to the Pro Bowl. He will replace Eagles receiver Desean Jackson.
Austin caught 69 passes for 1,041 yards and seven touchdowns in 2010 in followup to his breakout 2009 season in which he caught 81 passes for 1,320 yards and 11 touchdowns and getting a six-year, $54 million contract extension from the Cowboys.
Austin gives the 6-10 Cowboys six representatives at the 2011 Pro Bowl, joining tight end Jason Witten, center Andre Gurode, punter Mat McBriar, linebacker DeMarcus Ware and nose tackle Jay Ratliff.
