Cowboys tight end Jason Witten earned his second All-Pro honor. The team, voted on by 50 sports writers, was announced Monday.
Witten had a better season than he did in 2007, the first time he was so honored, with 94 catches for 1,002 yards and a career-best nine touchdowns.
Witten, who is in Hawaii this week preparing for his seventh Pro Bowl, was the only Cowboy on the prestigious first team. Linebacker DeMarcus Ware, who was on the first team last year, was a second-team selection this year as was punter Mat McBriar. Pittsburgh’s James Harrison and Green Bay’s Clay Matthews were the first-team linebackers.
