Cowboys could end up with OT, S, C and DT in the first four rounds

Dane Brugler, one of the top independent draft analysts in the country, has done his latest four-round mock draft. He has the Cowboys taking USC offensive tackle Tyron Smith with the ninth overall pick. Brugler is high on Smith, calling him a top-10 pick who likely will start his career at right tackle before sliding to the left side. The Cowboys, of course, are looking to replace right tackle Marc Colombo. Doug Free was solid in his first season as a starter at left tackle.

Nebraska cornerback Prince Amukamara and Smith seem to be the likeliest choice for the Cowboys if they stay at No. 9. (Ignore anything you've readabout Amukamara being off their draft board.)

Brugler has the Cowboys selecting UCLA safety Rahim Moore in the second round, Penn State center Stefen Wisniewski in the third and Arizona State defensive tackle Lawrence Guy in the fourth.

Those are super cute. I like you on Facebook.

some complain about jerry, love jimmy even with him blowing the 1990 draft traded 3 picks 2 move up and draft alexander wright could have used one of those picks on ricky prohel a much better wr could have drafted n the 4th jackie harris or chris warren n the 6th bryce paup n the 7th dave szott or shannon sharpe n the 5th barry foster or larry centers big time misses

Why does Jerry consistantly believe in trading away 1st round picks (the best of the best) to get a bunch of average (at best) players? Does he not understand that you can't put 2 average players on the field at the same time at each position to handle the one good player at each position? Even Jerry should know that you can't play 22 guys against 11......

I don't think Spencer will be a problem this season, and he'll bounce back to form, but MLB is a concern to me if we want to get younger and more physical..

+1 to Jayson's post.

That would be Great!!!! I hope they would finish with the same selections and add additional O line/ D line players for the remainder of their Draft selections. Relax everybody and enjoy the ride..

Wait a minute. You're talking about Jerry Jones calling the draft so don't get too excited with what should be the picks. Most likely, Jerry trades at least 2 of those picks for a few 6th and 7th round picks, trades out of the first round for a 37-yr old has been at (fill in the blank) position and a 5ht round pick. In the 4th round, Jerry saw an Arkansas 3rd string safety he saw practice once and will choose him. The only way the Cowboys ever have a good draft again is to duct-tape Jerry's mouth and stick him in a closet on draft days.
