Halfway through a press conference to introduce first-round pick Tyron Smith, Cowboys owner Jerry Jones started doing the interview himself. "Tyron, how old were you when you started cleaning commercial buildings with your family?" Jones asked. It was Jones’ way to make sure reporters knew about the early work experience of the offensive tackle from USC, whose family had a cleaning service when he was growing up. "I was 4 years old," Smith said. "I worked all the way through high school until I got to college." "Do you know the value of a dollar?" Jones asked. "Yeah," Smith said. "That was a big point," Jones told reporters. "We were real impressed." -- Carlos Mendez
