Cowboys say no to trade offer from Jaguars

The Cowboys got the same offer from the Jaguars that the Redskins eventually took.

The Jaguars acquired the No. 10 pick from the Redskins to take quarterback Blaine Gabbert. To do so, the Jaguars gave up the No. 16 pick and the No. 49 pick.

If the Cowboys had taken the offer, they would have had picks at 16 (the Jaguars’), 40 (their own) and 49 (the Jaguars’).

this draft was all about romo staying healthy, period, jason garrett's career is link with romo, if romo doesn't win that coveted lombardi trophy in indy in 2012, that means jerry has 2 blow up the team at the qb position. so jerry also drafted for the long term as well as smith will be a fixture on the offensive line for years to come, since he is only 20yrs old. it is imperative that romo succeed this year, so expect the cowboys to win the nfc east and win the nfc and play in super bowl 46, guaranteed.
