Jason Garrett says it was good to see players "walking the halls."

Cowboys coach Jason Garrett got his first chance to talk to his players about football on Friday at Valley Ranch. He didn't say how many came to the facility -- although veterans such as Tony Romo, Jason Witten and Marc Colombo were there -- or who he talked to.

But he sure enjoyed seeing them.

"It was great to see players walking the halls," he said. "Some of the guys got in a workout with Coach Woicik and his staff back there, so it was fun to be around them."
