Dez Bryant is one player that owner Jerry Jones will make a point to sit down and talk to when the players are allowed back into the facility on Friday.
Jones has not been able to reach out to Bryant because of the lockout. And thus has not been able to talk to him about the issues that have plagued him of late, including a sagging pants dispute at the mall and two lawsuits totaling more $900,000 in unpaid debt for jewelry and tickets.
“We will (Friday), but I haven’t prior,” Jones said. “We got to talk (Thursday). I wanted to make sure he was going to come through (Friday). More importantly for him to be with our trainers, which he’s going to do. But the other things, we will try to grab some time in between our work tomorrow getting ready for tomorrow night with the draft. I’ll grab some time and visit with him about some of those issues.”
Bryant has been rehabbing a broken ankle that ended his rookie season early. He has not been allowed to talk to the Cowboys trainers because of the lockout.
