Cowboys begin signing rookie free agents

The Cowboys have started a wild week by agreeing to terms with several undrafted free agents. With a 90-player limit, there still is plenty of negotiating to go. Texas Tech receiver Lyle Leong, Oklahoma State kicker Dan Bailey, Utah State cornerback Chris Randle and Georgia Tech cornerback Mario Butler are among those reportedly committed to the Cowboys for training camp.

The agent for Midwestern State quarterback Zack Eskridge said he also signed with the Cowboys, giving the team a fourth arm for camp.

Rookie free agents, who have had much success in Dallas, face an uphill battle to make the roster this season, having had no OTAs and no minicamps.
