Midwestern State quarterback Zack Eskridge, who started his career at TCU, will be the fourth arm in camp. He has agreed to terms with the Cowboys, according to his agent.
Eskridge is the grandson of Jack Eskridge, the Cowboys’ original equipment manager. He was one of the players the Cowboys brought to their Dallas Day workouts in April.
He led Midwestern State to a 21-10 record in three seasons and was a 2009 Harlon Hill finalist. Eskridge was Midwestern State’s all-time leader in completions (570), passing yards (6,953), passing touchdowns (64) and completion percentage (65.8).
