Former Texas A&M quarterback Jerrod Johnson has signed with the Philadelphia Eagles. It is anticipated that the Eagles will trade Stephenville's Kevin Kolb, opening a spot for Johnson to possibly make the team either as the third-stringer or as part of the team's practice squad.
Johnson is the Aggies’ career leader in total offense (8,888 yards) and passing yards (8,011 yards), but he was replaced in the lineup last season after he never fully recovered from off-season shoulder surgery. Johnson was considered a borderline top-100 prospect as a junior.
Johnson's former teammate, linebacker Tressor Baptiste, signed with the Bears.

If you mean Tressor Baptiste, he was not Jerrod Johnson's teammate. He did not go to Texas A&M. He attended was a Javelina from TAMUK - Texas A&M-Kingsville about 200 miles away from Bryan.
