Doug Free and Kyle Kosier will eventually make up two-fifths of the Dallas Cowboys offensive line.
Eventually.
They won’t be able to practice until Thursday, a consequence of the new labor rules. The Cowboys are itching to have the two veterans start practicing, but offensive line coach Hudson Houck said the time away won’t hurt them.
“I think they’ll be fine. There’s still plenty of time,” Houck said after Saturday’s walkthrough. “They know what to do. They know how to do it. It’s just a matter now of conditioning. They can do the conditioning. They can ride the bike. They can lift. They can do all that stuff on their own without any help. They’re two veteran guys. I don’t see that as any kind of problem.”
