No, Terrence Newman didn’t have the best year of his career last season with the Dallas Cowboys.
Secondary coach Dave Campo agrees.
But then, he said Newman did play with bruised ribs half the season. That’ll slow anybody down, Campo said.
“There’s a lot of guys, especially at the corner position, that kind of have a track mentality – ‘If I’m not 100 percent, I’m not running the 100,’ ” Campo said. “He didn’t. He fought through it and was a big part of the last eight games, 5-3. He fought through the whole thing.”
Still, Newman did lead the team in interceptions with five, and he was the third-leading tackler.
“I don’t know that he felt, or I felt, that he played as good as he could play consistently,” Campo said. “But I think overall, if you look at the body of work, I thought he played well.”

If Dave Campo really thinks that Terrence Newman
Isn't finished, then he should be finished as a Coach.
Terrence Newman has been so "LOUSY", the past 3 yrs.,
That I don't know why he's still @ the COWBOYS !
I sure hope and Pray, that they find a much much better SECONDARY, than what they had last year !
GOOD LUCK BOYS ! ! !

Newman was a warrior, playing with bruised ribs is no easy task...
