Brooking, Choice, Murray not yet cleared for Vikings game

Linebacker Keith Brooking (hamstring), running back Tashard Choice (calf) and running back DeMarco Murray (hamstring) returned to practice this week after being sidelined for the bulk of camp with injuries.

But they have yet to be cleared to play in Saturday's preseason game against the Vikings.

Coach Jason Garrett said the three players have done a good job in practice, and they will continue to evaluate how they have responded before making a final decision on their availability for theh Vikings game.

Cornerback Mike Jenkins (stinger) will not play against the Vikings. Also ruled out is receiver Miles Austin (hamstring) and defensive Marcus Spears (groin).

The Cowboys are hoping that guard Montrae Holland (back) will return to practice next week.
