Orlando Scandrick played a good game last week against Minnesota – so good, secondary coach Dave Campo called it “probably the best game he’s played this year or last year.”
Scandrick got credit for two tackles (although after the game he said he missed a tackle on Adrian Peterson), and Campo said he broke up two passes.
But what impressed Campo was Scandrick’s awareness of the game and situations.
“He’s not making a lot of mental mistakes. That’s important when you’re playing inside,” he said. “There’s a lot of stuff to do. You’re actually playing a linebacker position in there, as well as a defensive back.”

Can someone please tell Dave Campo to put a lid on his comments. We don't care to hear from him. His coaching philosophy in the secondary is the main reason those guys can't play.
