Receiver Dez Bryant caught two passes for 13 yards Sunday night against the Chargers. He wanted more.
"I felt like I didn’t do enough on two little catches," Bryant said. "It’s not enough. It’s not enough. It’s not enough. Come back to the sideline after we had scored, done. Threw my cup on the ground. Damn. I was kind of angry. It was all good though. It was good."
One pass Bryant would love to have back. He was wide open on the offense's third play from scrimmage when Tony Romo's pass bounced off his hands.
"Oh, man, I was upset, because I just knew it was a touchdown," Bryant said. "It’s like [receivers] coach [Jimmy] Robinson told me, 'That’s your drop for the year.' I had to suck it in and get on with about my business."
Bryant was targeted 72 times last season, making 45 catches. Only two were drops, according to STATS, Inc. But one was too many Sunday night.
"I took my eyes off the ball," Bryant said. "I shouldn’t have done that, but hey, just a little minor mistake. Easily can be fixed. That’s not me. I’m glad it’s preseason. I’m glad it don’t really count. But my standards are real high about catching the football. One drop is too many."

"Woulda-coulda-shoulda" always goes undefeated, but the reality is this team has yet to show much in the way of urgency to do things right. JG may soon have to pull a page out of Jimmie Johnson's coaching manual and sit (or worse) a few of the guys who can't seem to perform well except in "woulda" mode.
