Dallas Cowboys quarterback Stephen McGee said the 76-yard touchdown catch and run by Dwayne Harris was the result of good plays by the receiver and tight end.
“They tried to blitz us again,” McGee said. “They kept blitzing us. We missed a couple of hots earlier with the same pressure. Fortunately, this time, we made sure we had communicated it well at the huddle and at the line of scrimmage. He did a great job of looking hot, and so did Rucker. And Rucker was able to get a block on that.
“When they void the middle, it’s just man to man with a safety in the middle. Rucker made a block downfield, and when receivers make a block downfield and they bring the house like that, it gives you a great chance for a big play. And he did a great job with the ball in his hands.”
