Receiver Miles Austin's return to practice was a brief one after reaggravating his strained hamstring in Tuesday's practice.
He was kept out of the walk-through Wednesday morning and now listed as day to day, putting his availability for Saturday's game against the Vikings in doubt.
Austin was held out of last Sunday's game against the Chargers.
"He came back and was practicing fairly well," coach Jason Garrett said. "I think his hamstring tightened up on him a little bit. We are going to monitor him the next couple of days."
Linebacker Kenwin Cummings was held out of the walk-through with at thumb injury.

A couple of more things about our beloved boys this year. We have 4 major problems. First, our owner is broke and can't spend any money on any available free agents. Second, our head coach is very average with no imagination and that doesn't get you very far in the NFL. He's not a trend setter ahead of the curve type, he's one of many copycats in a copycat league. Third, our qb makes to many bad pre-snap reads. Fourth, our center stinks. He gets the snap counts wrong all the time and is not very accurate with his snaps. Just watch him, he stinks. Romo never gets the ball in the same spot, he has to fish for it and takes his eyes off the secondary to long after the snap which throws the whole play off.

As a cowboy fan, I just want to say 6-10. They will stink this year. They will have the worst secondary in the league and the offense still has no identity. They will end up in 3rd and 7 all year long with a lot of stupid penlities.

Here we go again. All NFL Teams needed more time to Practice, Because of this selfish Holdout, None of the Players are getting sufficiant practice time, and instead are getting thrown in games they arent prepared for. Screw Pre-Season and get your stars ready for the Regular season. Condition First, Play Second !!

I hope this is not going to be s nagging injury. I sure he will have to really stretch his hammies early and often. We need him.

Is say don't play Austin and Damarco Murray until ,the first game of the Season game1.----Preseason,Games Don't Count,So Don't play Cowboys Starters or maybe just 10.00min in the1st--- quarter in these two games to Minimize Injuries,So they"ll be Ready For week 1 Start of the NFL Season!
