The Cowboys didn't make a big splash in free agency like the Philadelphia Eagles did. But they did sign three defensive ends in Marcus Spears, Kenyon Coleman and Jason Hatcher and are looking to add two safeties at a reasonable price.
And while the Eagles are garnering all the headlines, Cowboys defensive coordinator Rob Ryan said his guys will take care of business when it counts on the field.
"I've got three bullies over there waiting for Thursday," Ryan said of his defensive line additions. "These are proven players, and that's what we need. I don't know if we win the all-hype team, I think that might have gone to somebody else, but we're going to beat their ass when we play them."
Ryan walked away when asked who that somebody else might be. But of course, who else would be talking about but the "dream team" as former Texas quarterback Vince Young called his new Eagles teammates.
