The Cowboys kept David Buehler on their roster for his kickoffs, but Buehler might not be able to play this week. He was limited in practice with a right groin injury.
Cowboys coach Jason Garett said Dan Bailey will kickoff if Buehler can't play Monday night.
"If he had to do it, he would do it," Garrett said of Bailey.
Buehler had 51 touchbacks in his first two seasons. He has five this season.
Bailey said he was prepared to take on Buehler's job as well as his own if Buehler isn't able to play. Six of Bailey's seven kickoffs in the preseason reached the end zone, though he had only two touchbacks.
"It's something I have done forever as a kickoff guy," Bailey said. "So I think it's something that won't be a big deal. I have to execute like they want me, too, if that is the case. Who knows? Buehler is a tough guy. He could be kicking."
