Cowboys closing in on practice squad players

The Cowboys did not announce their practice squad Sunday. But safety Akwasi Owusu-Ansah, receiver Teddy Williams, linebacker Orie Lemon, cornerback Mario Butler, fullback Isaiah Greenhouse and fullback Shaun Chapas are expected to be on the eight-player developmental squad. Receiver Andre Holmes, who was with the Vikings in training camp, also is expected on the Cowboys’ practice squad.

Players will earn $5,700 each week they are on the practice squad.
