Dez Bryant might not be doing much punt-returning anymore.
Cowboys owner Jerry Jones hinted as much after watching Bryant go to the locker room with a tight quadricep.
“He got limited on the punt return, according to what he told me,” Jones said.
Bryant said he wants to continue to return punts, but he won’t if Jones doesn’t want him to.
“I love doing it. I just felt like, ‘Things happen,’ and I feet like punt return, I love it a lot. I feel like any moment, I can make a big splash on it. But it’s whatever Mr. Jones wants. He doesn’t want me doing it? I’d be sad. I’d love to continue doing it. But hey, he makes the calls.”
Bryant went on injured reserve last season after breaking his right fibula on a kickoff return against Indianapolis.

Man, does he sound like a a puppet or what, grow some. Shouldn't it be if the coach doesn't want him too, who's running this team. I agree with Jerry, but it's not his place to comment, but then again what doesn't he comment on, idiot

Peter, you're the idiot.
You DON'T risk your most explosive WR who is in there every offensive play for the most part on PUNT RETURNS.
And exactly why you don't do that happened again. He got injured and then he couldn't play at full speed the rest of the game.
This is just stupidity on the part of the coaches. You don't put your best WR on ST.
End of story. This is the same stupid stuff the Cowboys do...they shoot themselves in the foot with just absolutely stupid decisions like this.
