The Cowboys released their official injury report, and although Dez Bryant came running out for practice, dressed in uniform, the Cowboys starting receiver did not practice. Cowboys coach Jason Garrett, though, said Bryant is improving.
"Dez is working his way back from an injury, and I think he’s progressing on a daily basis," Garrett said. "I think he’s done more today than he has the last couple of days, so we’re certainly optimistic about him. But again, he’s day to day just like the other guys are. If he’s not able to go, we’ll just have someone else go in his place and move forward."
There were three changes to the injury report from Thursday. Kickoff specialist David Buehler was added with a right groin injury. He was limited in practice. Dan Bailey will have to kickoff if Buehler can't play. Phil Costa (knee) returned to practice on a limited basis, and Felix Jones (shoulder) was limited Friday after not practicing Thursday.
Receiver Miles Austin (hamstring), left guard Derrick Dockery (knee) and cornerback Orlando Scandrick (ankle) did not practice and will not play this week.
Tony Romo (ribs) did not practice, but the Cowboys remain hopeful he will play Monday night.
