Owusu-Ansah getting a look at receiver

Akwasi Owusu-Ansah said he was asked to try receiver, so he has switched numbers and switched positions.

Owusu-Ansah is wearing No. 11 and trying his hand at offense on the scout team. Owusu-Ansah, a fourth-round pick in 2010, switched from cornerback to safety before last season. He made the active roster before going on injured reserve with an ankle injury in October. Owusu-Ansah was released out of training camp this year, but he was re-signed to the practice squad.

"They asked me to play receiver," Owusu-Ansah said. "They said, 'We kind of like you at receiver.' It's mostly scout team. ...I'll do whatever they ask me to do."

I'm interested in such offer,The sound quality in these podcasts is really poor. I feel bad about complaining about something that is free, but I think it is important.

What is wrong with Jerry he is completely insane. Once again he is trying to convert a defensive player to offense. This is so stupid why can't this guy just draft WRs to be WRs and CBs to be CBs and not try to convert Pitchers to QBs. I just don't understand this guy crazy. This is why we never even have a chance to compete for the playoffs. Hopeless absolutely hopeless.
