WR Laurent Robinson tweets he's a Cowboys, but he's just coming for a workout first

Wide receiver Laurent Robinson jumped the gun a bit when he tweeted he was headed to the Cowboys.
He's not on the team. He's just coming in for a workout first.
The veteran Robinson has 89 catches for 1,000 yards and four touchdowns in four NFL seasons with the Rams and Chargers. He was cut by the Chargers on Saturday.
The Cowboys have little depth at receiver behind starters Dez Bryant and Miles Austin, with the remaining three receivers Kevin Ogletree, Jesse Holley and rookie sixth-round pick Dwayne Harris combining for three catches last season, all by Ogletree, who has 10 catches in his career. Holley has none.

Among those posts I've seen, this is the most particular one, and I think the blogger must have spent lots of time on it, thank you so much!

very nice post, i certainly love this website, keep on it.

I agree with john, cut ogletree, give someone else a shot. Of the field behavior carries over. We need to get rid of all of the dipshits

Harris is going to be a real asset and a go to guy. Just watch!

@Count Yorga

Holley was born in 1984... more like 27 not 31

actually Laurent Robinson was looking really good with the rams before his injury. I would like to see what he has with Ogletree showing his immaturity.

That might be over-stating it a bit with Holley. At 31, you have to think tha Mr. 4th and Long is at his ceiling. I speaking mainly to Harris when i was talking the potential to be a #2

Don't see the need. I'd rather take my chances with Ogletree and Harris. We already know what Robinson is. An under-performing #3. These other guys could develop to be fairly reliable #2s. If you bring in a guy like Robinson or Avery to compete, you better carry 6 receivers. I certainly wouldn't risk losing Harris if that's what it comes down to.
