DIRECTV holding Ultimate Fan contest

DIRECTV is holding its fourth annual Ultimate Displaced Fan contest. It is a challenge to find the most die-hard fans who live outside the market of their favorite NFL team.

Fans can submit videos, essays or photos that best display their extreme dedication and the difficulties that comes with being a far-away fan. Displaced fans can log onto www.UltimateDisplacedFan.comand upload an essay outlining their loyalty. Photos and videos are highly encouraged, though not mandatory.

In addition to bragging rights, one grand prize winner will receive the ultimate Super Bowl experience, including a trip for two to Indianapolis, two tickets to the game and the opportunity to go on a media tour at the famed “radio row” with a player from their favorite team. The winner also will rub elbows with NFL greats and celebrities when they participate in DIRECTV 's nationally televised Celebrity Beach Bowl flag football game.
Last year’s Ultimate Displaced Fan title was awarded to Kris Jones, a Raleigh, N.C. resident with a fanatical loyalty to the Baltimore Ravens.

DIRECTV also is holding a QB Challenge, where fans can win prizes on DIRECTV’s Facebook page. The direct link is:  http://www.facebook.com/directv?sk=app_157444670969171.
